AMIR GERE BIO
Born and raised in London, UK, Amir Gere has been in love with movies his whole life. He studied at the London Film Academy, where he produced, co-wrote and directed his first short film.
Intrigued by the role of a film director, he has since produced a series of short movies that impressed in viewers' memory. For each of his new projects, Amir enjoys putting together a team of young talent and working with diverse actors who, under his direction, deliver moments that leap out of the film.
His third short film, The Stranger, received a distribution deal at the Cannes Short Film Festival.
Now, with over 10 years of experience in directing and writing films, he continues to challenge himself creatively everyday.
His latest short horror movie, The Midnight Pianist, is currently being sent to International Film Festivals and he has just written his next feature movie, which is set to start shooting in Japan in Autumn 2020.

I've had the pleasure of working with Amir on several short film shoots and creative projects. His knowledge and enthusiasm for film set him apart and he is a person who works well with colleagues.
